　　The First Scene :

　　Tom : My classmate , Jimmy did not get enough oxgen during a difficult delivery , leaving him with

　　brain damage . It is difficult for him to finish things on his own , and those made him a difficult life . His father and him were inseparable . they ate breakfast together and on weekdays drove off to the nevy shopping center every morming . At night after dinner , they would talk anyany games late into the evening.things wents better . I was very lucky to become his classmate . And this day to my surprise , bad things was caming .

　　Our Teacher Mr. John was teaching us some easy multiplication.

　　John : Jimmy , what is 8 multiply 7 ? (Jimmy stand up)

　　Jimmy : Oh.......yeah...en...sorry , sir,....oh...I dont know .

　　John : what ? I had just cunt it and now you say you don’t know . What did you learn in class ?This

　　qustion is so easy that I could solve it without any consideration . And you Tom , what’s your answer ? (Mr John call me . I stand up and answered)

　　Tom : Sir , It’s 56 .

　　John : well done . Sit down , please . And you Jimmy , I want to see your notebook , give it to me .

　　(Jimmy hand his note book to Mr. John , he look at the vacant notebook and become angry . )What have you do in the class ? I will let you back home if you don’t learn well . (Mr. John back to dais ) Class over ! (we all stand up)

　　Tom and Jimmy : Goodbye teacher !

　　John : Sit down please. (class is over and Jimmy is crying)

　　Jimmy : I am too stupid to solve it.Do you think so ? ( Jimmy looks at me )

　　Tom ; Yeah , its not your fault , Mr.John only want you to learn math well .

　　Jimmy : I had working hard , every night , my dad came to my bedroom to helped me in finishing my

　　homework . I am too dull to learning .

　　Tom : (Jimmy was crying and went home immediately , his father was surprised that why Jimmy was cryed ,

　　then he decided go to school to make it clear that what had happened .)

　　The second scene :

　　(Mr. Jimmy came to the school and found Mr. John in his office )

　　Mr. Jimmy : Hello , Teacher ,nice to meet you !

　　John : Nice to meet you , too !

　　Mr. Jimmy : I’m Jimmy’s father .

　　John : Hello . Here you a seat . Sit down please !

　　Mr. Jimmy : I want talk something with you about my little son Jimmy .

　　John : I see . And what do you want to know ?

　　Mr. Jimmy : I am surprise that Jimmy’s crying .I think whether –there was anything happened afternoon ? John : Oh … I’m sorry for that . I was just found that you son Jimmy didn’t learn careful and

　　make no notes . He was so stupid that couldn’t solove such a easy question .

　　Mr. Jimmy : It sounds not good for him . But he is not stupit , he is very clever , I believe him .

　　I had always helped him to do with his studying , he was so clever that he often finished his homewok by himself .

　　John : No,no .By asking him that easy question , I realized that you son have a lot difficult to follow

　　the others . I am only want he will do his best and make great effort in studying . if he put no effort , he will learn nothing and never be successful because of his low intelligence . Mr. Jimmy ：Thank you ! I see . its time that to talk with him .and Ill be back . thank you for your

　　The third scene :

　　Jimmy come to mr.jimmys badroom

　　Jimmy: dad , my classmate told me that you had stayed mr.john office

　　In my 18 years of life, there have been many things. University days are the best part of them. I can never forget the days when I stepped into my university. I was impressed by its garden'like campus, its enthusiastic students and especially its learning atmosphere. I at once fell in love with it.

　　After the arduous military training, I get absolutely absorbed in my studies. The classes given by the teachers are excellent. They provide us with information not only from our textbooks but from many other sources as well. They easily arouse my insatiable desire to take in as much as I can.

　　Frankly speaking, at first I had some difficulty following the teachers. However, through my own efforts and thanks to my teachers' guidance, I made remarkable progress. Now I've benefited a lot from lectures and many other academic reports.

　　Learning is a long process; I'll keep exploring in the treasure house of knowledge to enrich myself. This summer I got out of the ivory tower and entered the real world. A publishing house offered me a part'time job in compilation and revision.

　　At the beginning I was belittled by my colleagues. But they were really surprised when I translated seven English articles over 5,000 words on only one day. Gradually, they began to look at me with respectful eyes. In their opinion I turned out to be a useful and trustworthy colleague.

　　I also realize that only those who bring happiness for others can be truly happy. So I often take part in activities concerning public welfare. I once went to a barren mountain village with my classmates. We taught the kids there who could not afford school. While showing them how broad and how civilized the outer world is, I was deeply touched by their eagerness to learn, their honesty and their purity. I couldn't control my tears on the day when we left. The precious experience with the poor kids made me aware of the responsibility on the shoulders of us, future teachers.

　　Today the quality of our natural environment has become an important issue. The world population is rising so quickly that the world has become too crowded.

　　We are using up our natural resources and at the same time polluting our environment with dangerous chemicals. If we continue to do this, life on earth cannot survive.

　　Pollution has been a serious problem for a certain time around the world. There are many causes for it. Transportation is the main factor of pollution. When the waste gas from cars is released, the air is polluted. People breathing in the polluted air can develop respiratory disease. Another factor is that

　　people throw their garbage everywhere. All kinds of garbage not only spoil the splendid environment, but also cause environmental pollution. Wastewater from factories is also poured into rivers and this causes water pollution

　　Concerned people have made some progress in environmental protection. Governments of many countries have established laws to protect the air, forests and sea resources and to stop environmental pollution.

　　Still more measures should be taken to solve environmental problems. People should be further educated to recognize the importance of the problems, to use modern methods of birth control, to conserve our natural resources and recycle our products. We are sure that we can have a better and cleaner place in the future.

　　This year's summer vacation was most enjoyable. I spent fifteen days helping my grandparents doing farm work in the countryside， where I saw mountains and fields covered with green plants. Sometimes I went swimming in the river to the west of the village， the water in which was quite clear.

　　My topic today is Learn to be a real teacher.

　　People often say: Teacher is the engineer of human spirit. But how to be a real teacher? The issue lingering in my mind for a long time.

　　I still remember the days three years ago, I came to the present school . Hurrying into the classroom and starting my first class, I was almost blind about the teaching materials and the students. What I had was only a heart full of love and enthusiasm. In my mind, I wanted to be friends with them and love them. However, things were not as I expected. Students in my class just kept on talking and giggling, ignoring my existence... I just can’t control my class! What should I do? For a while,each time walking into the classroom, I felt like I was approaching the hell. That experience was really a nightmare to me.

　　The second term , I was assigned to teach two new classes of grade 7. I decided to build strict classroom rules so that I could have a stable teaching environment. Things went on smoothly as I expected, they behaved well in my class, homework was finished carefully , test results were always among the best… I was very satisfied. I had thought I knew how to be a good teacher until one day, I was told by their Chinese teacher to read an article about me, titled “A brief smile”. It read, “My English teacher is very beautiful, but usually she is too strict, we are all

　　afraid of her, until today, I don't know when she smiles. She has two dimples...” I laughed, but then reflected on myself, I helped them gain outstanding grades, but lost their love.

　　This term, I took over two other classes of grade 9. I know it’s time to change. I insist a strict requirement with them at class, yet I show my great care towards them after class. Recently a girl’s mother gave me a call, she said it was the first time for her to see her daughter recite English text! Another parent said that his daughter began to be interested in English learning, it is not only because of my teaching well, but because she could tell that I care them and respect them. Hearing these, I feel a flush of joy and pride.

　　I know now I’m on the right track. I walk more firmly and more confidently. As the saying goes, “Happy is the man who is living by his hobby”, I consider teaching as my hobby, I’ll make great efforts to make both my students and myself enjoy the happy life.

　　I received a devastating blow to my self'confidence in the first interview of my college years. I applied to be a host in our Student Acting Troupe and felt confident that I would be accepted. But one of the panel members told me: “You seem inadequate and you are a little vertically'challenged.” My life has never been the same since. I used bigger heels to complement my height and psychological maneuvers and tricks to hide my lack of confidence. But no matter how hard I tried to look the part, there was still something missing. As president of English Club, I organized the rehearsal of Snow White for an English party. Unfortunately, we could not find an actor to be the last dwarf. It had to be someone who was humorous by nature and fluent in English. Suddenly, all eyes turned to me, and I knew I would have to be the dwarf. To my great surprise and delight, once on stage, I was totally absorbed in the performance and my humorous nature was put to full use. As the dwarf, I was a big hit.

　　Yes, each of us is only one among millions of others, but each of us is an individual and each of us is unique. Cultivating our individuality will transform our lives, making of them a kaleidoscope of new colors and textures.

　　A world deprived of diversity would be a bland and boring place. The real tragedy is not being short or shy or ugly, but having your identity lost in a world in which everyone is a clone of a model cool boy or a flawless charming girl.

　　Given a choice, I would rather be ugly than live in such a world. I'd rather be a genuine dwarf accompanying a Snow White than be a Snow White among nothing but Snow Whites. I would rather be myself. I would contribute my individual and unique colors to create a more diverse universe. Please, be yourself.
