美国留学推荐信格式详解【1】
一般来说，推荐信开头要介绍推荐人的一些个人信息，比如姓名，职位，就职于哪里，然后推荐人要介绍与被推荐人的关系，相处多久时间，认识程度。
接下来就是推荐信的正文部分，重点介绍推荐人的表现，老师可以介绍学生在课堂上的表现，领导介绍申请者的工作能力，同事可以表现申请者的合作精神。
最后部分给出推荐人的意见，证明申请者是否适合申请该学校(该专业)，一般要在最后留下推荐人的联系方式，这样显得真实和真诚。
一般情况下推荐信的格式都是固定的，推荐人只要按照这个格式写就可以了。
推荐信要用单位的信签纸，比如老师的推荐信最好用带有学校名称的信纸来写，不要用白纸来写，并且形式最好是电脑打字，而不是手写。
推荐信最后要写上日期，并且签上推荐人的名字，西方人习惯看签字而不是公章，如果条件允许可以先签字然后加盖单位公章，记住一定要公章而不是其他类型的章。

在提到缺点的时候拿捏好分寸，千万不要喧宾夺主，过分夸大缺点，那样就前功尽弃了。
第四，推荐信要简短有力，不要拖拖拉拉，对申请者的成绩要提出大胆的表扬，对缺点也可以顺带提及，可以给人耳目一新的感觉。
